The ROCK of this family.Alexander Moore Sr. was born October 11, 1938, to John and Ora Lee Hardy-Moore, who bothproceeded him in death. Alexander attended Yazoo County Public Schools. He was employed by TrottiConstruction for many years where he retired and returned to work later with Donaldson Construction &Trotti Construction.Alexander accepted Christ early in life at the Steve Chapel Independent Church in Benton, MS.Alexander had two (2) children, Terry T. Moore (Shayla) and Alexander Moore Jr.; two (2) brothers Johnand Walter Moore; 1 sister Lucy M. Washington; and one (1) son-in-law, Frederick Sutton, that allproceeded him in death.He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 30 years Alma Jean Sims-Moore; fourteen(14) children: Velma Jean, Bobbie Joe Mosley (Grady), Catherine Cruthen (Roosevelt), Diane Coleman(Perry), Loretta Shaw (Cornelius), John Earl Moore (Lisa), Jennifer Sims (Danny), Katina Carter (Jason),Veronica Sutton, Rebecca Blackmon, Mark Sims (Shenitta) and Tracy Cason all of Jackson, MS; DannySims (Pam) of Utica, MS and Patrick Austin (Danette) of Texas; one (1) brother, Johnnie B Rattler ofJackson, MS; and four (4) sisters Rebecca Mack (Clemon) of East Chicago, Indiana, Rutha Carter,Catherine Moore, and Annie O’Banner (Clint), all of Jackson, MS; fifty-one (51) grandchildren, thirtythree(33) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
