~IN REMEMBERANCE OF~ ~Mrs. Beatrice (Bea) Henderson Luckett~ Beatrice Henderson Luckettt, was affectionately known as “Bea” to most and “Muaa” to others. On April 17, 1921 a baby girl, the sixth child of eleven siblings, was born to the late Mr. Ananidze “Jack” Henderson and the late Mrs.Willella Henderson in Yazoo County. Bea accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined the Old Pleasant Grove M. B. Church, Bentonia, MS, where she served as a faithful and devoted member. One day in 1937, she was introduced to a man named Louis Luckett, Sr., they became more acquainted with one another. On June 20, 1938, Bea and Louis married and produced seven children. Finally, she is able to embrace her husband, oldest daughter Bobbie and sons~Willie, Charles, Elbert and Louis Jr. who preceded her in death. Bea made her home in Chicago, Illinois from 1985 until 2001, when she moved back to Jackson, Mississippi to be closer to her two daughters and family. She joined Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John R. Johnson Jr.,where she served faithfully until her health failed. Bea (Muaa) leaves a legacy of love and memories to two loving daughters, Christine Bassett and Annie Patterson, a play daughter, Rosemary Owens, 32 devoted grand children (3 preceded her in death), 74 loving great-grandchildren (2 preceded her in death) and numerous of great-great grandchildren who loved (Muaa) deeply, and they were all “baby”to her. She leaves two devoted sisters, Alma Williams and Lillie Berry. Four dedicated daughters-in-law, Juanita, Barbara, Ann and Dorothy and a caring sister-in-law, Ethel. Two brothers-in-law, W.C. (Linda) Moore and Earnest Moore. She also leaves an abundance of loving nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, relatives and friends to cherish her memories. WE LOVE YOU AND WE WILL ALL MISS YOU DEARLY MUAA!!!
