David Owen Gallagher

David Owen Gallagher, age 65, passed away peacefully November 8, 2020 due to respiratory distress caused by Covid-19. He was born November 12, 1954 in Bentonia, MS to Henry Patrick Gallagher and Mildred Alderman. He married his best friend and lived happily married for 43 years. David loved to talk about “the good ol’ days”, loved to turn a wrench, loved helping his family and especially loved every minute of watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow. He is preceded in death by his father Pat Gallagher and his brother Henry Gallagher. He is survived by his wife Shirley Dianne Landers (Gallagher), his mother Mildred Alderman (Gallagher), his sister Patricia Ross (Roy), his 3 brothers John Gallagher (Grace), Joe Gallagher (Sammy), James Gallagher (Tina), his two children Shannon Dawn Gallagher (Shiers) and David Brandon Gallagher, his five grandchildren: Ashley Shiers (Kenneth Chisolm II), Nickolas Shanks, Patrick Gallagher, Dylan Gallagher, and Landon Gallagher, and his two great grandchildren, Macey Chisolm and Nova Chisolm. Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Liverpool Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 8:00 a.m. with services to follow at 8:30 a.m. Paul bearers include: Dylan Gallagher, Landon Gallagher, Kenneth Chisolm II, Chase White, Trystin Slaton, and Carson Matlock. Honorary Pall bearers include Brandon Gallagher and Patrick Gallagher.
