Donald Keith Shaffer

Donald Keith Shaffer affectionally called "Keith" was born on April 1, 1960 in Bentonia, MS to the late Miller H. Shaffer and the late Christine Owens Shaffer-Warren. Keith joined and was baptized at Progressive M.B. Church in Gulfport, MS at and early age. He did however spend his formulative years in Bentonia, MS. Keith graduated from Long Beach High School in Long Beach, MS in 1978. He learned welding at Ingalls Ship Yard and worked for many years. Later he was hired as a Foreman for Pre Stress and work there for several years. He then became a long distant truck driver for a short period and finally worked at Baton Rouge Concretre Company until his health began to fail. Keith is preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Ronnie Owens and son Donald Keith Shaffer Jr.
