Brother Eddie Lewis Redmond October 15, 1947 ~ November 2, 2017 “Let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you; And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am; You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14: 1-4 NIV Eddie Lewis Redmond was born October 15, 1947 to the union of the late William Redmond Sr. and Odessa Littleton in Yazoo County. Eddie Redmond departed this life on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, William Redmond, Sr., mother, Odessa Littleton and three brothers Kenneth Graham, Charles Redmond and Early Rule. Eddie leaves to cherish the memories a stepmother; Kathleen Redmond of Kinston, NC; five daughters: Deidra Jenkins of Yazoo City, MS, Angela Milton (Lenaris) of Canton, MS, Priscilla Nelson (Dietrich), April Johnson and Crystal McGraw all of Las Vegas, NV; three sons: Kenneth Mayberry (Janice) of Yazoo City, MS, Randy Cooper of Arlington, TX, and Jacquarious Yarbor of Belzoni, MS; four sisters: Danette Waters of Benton, MS, Cynthia Redmond Blackmon, Julia Collins and Gloria Redmond all of Kinston, NC; five Brothers: George Waters (Cassandra) of Yazoo City, MS, Johnny Waters of Clay, NY, David Redmond, Curtis Redmond, and William Redmond Jr., all of Kinston, NC; one aunt: Lizzie Richardson Lacey of Benton, MS; three uncles: James Williams (Mary) of Benton, MS, Jimmie (Jackson) Palmer and a special friend: Bertha Tate; twenty-two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
