Harold Sprague

Harold Daniel Sprague Sr. Harold Daniel Sprague Sr., 72 of Yazoo City, Mississippi, passed at his home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with his wife Lori Sprague and other family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Lori Sprague, daughter- Danielle Sprague (Onteona, NY), son- Harold Sprague Jr and partner Cassie (Yazoo, MS), daughter- Samantha Bennett and husband Bobby (Yazoo, MS), son- Jason Sprague exand wife Wendy (Jackson, MS), son Shawn Sprague and wife Linda (Purvis, MS), son Justin Sprague and partner Khara (Clayton, IL), son- Travis June (Jackson, MS), daughter- Arlie June and partner Matthew (Kilgore, TX), daughter- Jenna Bowen and partner James (Yazoo, MS), daughter- Cassidy Cantrell and wife Gabriella (Yazoo, MS). He is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Harold is also survived by his brother Randall Sprague (Yazoo, MS), and two sisters Debra Shutter (Coxsackie, NY), Penelope Tierney (Patchogue, NY) and many nieces and nephews. Harold is preceded in death by his mother Emily Bagley and father Harold Sprague and many other family members. Harold or as other people knew him as Yankee or Rabbit was a very hard working man that would help anyone in need. He was a very accomplished in many things. In March of 2021 he fell ill and has been paralyzed since due to that. As a way of therapy and appreciation to those who have helped him in his journey and for him to show God’s love Harold made wooden crosses that he covered in stones, that his family picked up for him, and he gave those crosses out to all of the people that helped him throughout all he has been through. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Bill Brown, Mrs. Brenda Fielder, Mrs. Emily T., Bro. Sam of Old Madison Church and all of the team at Baptist Hospice Care that has helped Harold and Lori and the family throughout this last year and all the difficult times
