Jackson Dwight (Jackie) Mahone was born May 16, 1954, the 10thchild born to Robert and Matilda (Anderson) Mahone He joined St. Paul CME Church of Bentonia,MS at an early age. He attended Gibbs School until the 7th grade and then the family moved to Jackson, MS where he attended Rowan Jr and Central High where he graduated in 1972 with a scholarship in mathematics. He attended Jackson State University and majored in accounting. After leaving JSU, he was employed by HermeticCo of Jackson, MS for many years.He was recently employed by Tellus Operating Group, Jackson, MS.On January 5, 1974, Jackie met and married Mildred Jeanette Bracey. To this union four children were born. He later married Alice Ramsey on November 22, 2014.He leaves to morn his passing, wife Alice Mahone,Angela (Bruce) Russell,J acco (Shayla) Mahone, Veronica Mahone and Dewaun (Sabrina) Mahone., all of Jackson, MS, and his best friendKeith Wells of Waynesboro, MS. Second mom, Willie B. Crisp of Los Angeles, CAJackie leaves eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, Sister Rev. Bessie Lee Porter of Tallulah, La, Alma Jameelah(Ali) Hassan of San Diego, CA, Carl Thomas Mahone of Pascagoula, MS, Gertrude (James) Branche of Jackson, MS, special cousin, Mike Wilson of Flora, MS and many neices, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. Also greiving, Robert Castor Sr., John F. Castor, Della Jones, Min Bennie andRandy Barnett of Shubuta, MS.Preceding him in death both parents and two brothers, Roosevelt Mahone of Bentonia, MS and Robert (Bobby)Mahone of San Diego, CA
