Joe Lewis Berry

Joe Lewis Berry the only child of the late Veola Berry wasborn on May 6, 1955.Joe grew up in the Yazoo County, and attended GibbsSchool, Bentonia High School, and later he attended HolmesCommunity College.Joe accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and baptized at anearly age at Old Concord M.B. Church under the leadershipof Reverend Stevenson and served as an Usher until hishealth declined.Joe worked for Regal Ware in Flora, worked for WarrenYazooMental Health Service, and later as a custodian at theoffice of the Mayor of Yazoo City until his health declined.On March 21, 2018 Joe yielded his spirit unto God andentered into a place of eternal rest and peace.Joe leaves to cherish his memories to a host of relatives,friends and loved ones.
