John Edward Scott

  Mr. John Edward Scott was born March 30, 1941 to the late Carrie Preston and Kenneth Scott Sr. Two brothers James Scott Jr. and William Scott one sister Lillian Leak all preceded him in death.  John attended and graduated Vox Hall High School in Vox Hall, New Jersey. He was employed at Ford Motor Company for 30 years. During this time he met and married the Love of his life Desi Johnson and no children was born but he loved raised three children as his own. In 2009 John moved to Mississippi following his love Sweet Baby Johnson and joined Pleasant Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. C.I Bradley were he was a faithful member until his health failed him. John leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Desi Scott. Three children John Edward Scott Jr. of New Jersey, Fabian (R.B.) Johnson of Jackson, MS, Patrick Scott of New Jersey. Three grandchildren Cassandra Nixon, Jonathan (Sherdia) Nixon of Jackson, MS, Jamal Scott of Western Selma, South Carolina. Six great-grandchildren, one brother Kenneth Scott Jr. of New Jersey, two sisters Gloria (Jenkins) Harris of Vox Hall, New Jersey, Presicilla Scott of Union, New Jersey and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
