Johnnie Bell Bridges

Johnnie Bell Bryant-Bridges “Woman” 1967-2018   Johnnie Bell Bryant began her journey of life on May 21, 1967, the youngest child born to Ms. Lillie Mae Bryant and the late Henry lee Guice.   Johnnie confessed her life to Christ at an early age at Calvary M.B. Church. She later joined Lintonia Chapel Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Donnell Allen.   On March 15, 1997, she was joined in holy matrimony to John L. Bridges and to this union four children were born.   Johnnie worked at Multicraft from 1996-1998. She then began working at Yazoo Industries from 1998-2004. In 2007, she began working first as a vendor then was hired full-time with her current job at Lowe’s until death.   Johnnie was full of life and enjoyed being around her family and friends. She was always happy and just like to have fun. She would also say whatever came to her mind.   Johnnie departed this life on November 14, 2018. She is finally able to embrace her father, daughter, Grandparents, an Uncle, two brothers and two brother-in-laws, and a sister-in-law all of whom proceeded her in death.   Johnnie leaves to cherish her memory: a loving, devoted husband John L. Bridges, Sr., a loving Mother Ms. Lillie Mae Bryant, her eight children: M’Tisha (Larry) Moore, Dion McGee, Derrick Bryant, Natasha Bryant, Devin Bryant, Mary Alice Bridges, Jocelyn Bridges, and John L. Bridges, III, 18 grandchildren; three Step-children: John, Jr., Nikki and Javon; her Siblings: Betty Ann Bailey, Sammie (Jennifer) Bryant, Henry Guice, Annie Bell  (Willie) Rankin, Sherwood Bryant, Beverly Felton and Josephine Davis; Aunts: Josie Lee Bryant, and Evelyn Tyler; a Uncle Robert Guice, Jr.; brother-in-laws: Oasby Gilliam, Carl L. Gilliam, and Willie Traylor; Sister-in-laws: Edna Bridges, Christine and Earnestine Bridges, Gloria Traylor, and Jill Traylor; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
