Johnnie White Johnson

Johnnie Mae Johnson, a life long resident of Holly Bluff, MS where she later moved to Bentonia, MS after the death of her husband Marion Johnson. She was the first child of the late Willie Mae Stewart and Albert White, born of April 13, 1954. She confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age at Satartia Baptist Church in Satartia, MS. She attended Satartia Elementary School in Satartia,MS. She enjoyed outdoors, entertainment, and being with her friends: Tweet, Lenny, Jean, Felicia, and Coop. She was cheerful, loving, and outspoken person in her own way. Dancing and making others laugh were two of the many things she enjoyed. Johnnie Mae departed her life on November 18, 2017 at her home. She was preceeded in death by her mother, father, and brother. Johnnie Mae leaves to cherish her memories his mother: a very special friend, Michael Thornton; five daughters: Tracey (L.C.), Keenya (Tim), Cynthia (Carl), Aron and Vanessa all of Yazoo City, MS; two sons: Jamie (Monique) and Keith; one aunt: Annice of Madison, Wisconsin, a close friend Lashonda Williams of Jackson, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
