Kejoncee Burks was born on May 27, 2004 to the proud parents of KaTrina Smith and John Burks at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She attended Yazoo County Middle School as an honor student and student athlete (basketball). Kejoncee was also a member of the Glamorous Gems dance team. She was a sweet girl with a beautiful spirit and a loving soul. K ejoncee attended praise and worship service at Bell’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord God. She was quiet and shy in the presence of adults, but a typical teenager amongst her cousins and friends. K ejoncee Burks departed her earthly life on December 31, 2017. Her grandfathers preceded in her death: John A. Williams and Percy Harrison. K ejoncee leaves to cherish her precious memories: Mother, KaTrina Smith (Orlando Johnson), and Father, John Burks; Sisters: LaKendra (Kendra) Ingram, Kye’Porshia Johnson, and Morgan Harris; Brothers: Kenneth (Booda) Ingram and Javas Burks; Niece, A’Riyah Green; Grandparents: Lessie Grayson (Second Mom), Clova Bennett, Fannie (Herman) Ingram, and Edward Thompson; Great-Grandmother: Mary (R.T. Cage) Smith; Aunts: Pamela Smith, Greta (Kenyanta) Ray, LaVeda (Earnie) Robbins, Lisa Bennet, Shuntena Williams, and Nakia (Jerome) Clerk; Uncles: Reginald Smith, Jamison (Amber) Burks, and John Williams Jr.; Special Cousins: Laila Marie Robbins, Ge’Khilyah (Khilyah) Ray and Khalyja (Redd) Rucker; Best Friends: Mariah Williams, Erin Southern, Adajia Crozier, and Tralandria (TT) Stiff. She also leaves a host of Cousins, Family, and Friends and the Yazoo County Middle School Student-Body, Faculty and Staff to cherish her loving memories.
