Maryie Ann Wade

A Prayer of Serenity God grant us the Serenity to accept the things we can’t change, the courage to change the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference. ~ The Wade ~  A Time to Be Born Maryie Wade was the fourth of seven children born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Sarah Wade- Hill on August 15, 1973 in Yazoo County, Mississippi. A Time to Plant Maryie received her formal education in the Yazoo County Public School System.   A Time to Grow Maryie was baptized at an early age at Oak Grove A.M.E. Church. Mary best known by family and friends as (Big Momma and Honey) was a gentle and caring soul. She loved EVERYBODY !!!. Everyone she met was like family when she left them. She never had children of her own, but raised everyone else’s and they all loved and respected her so much.   A Time for Peace On December 9, 2017, after a brief illness, Maryie had to leave this old earthly home and transitioned to her new heavenly home, where she will have peace and eternal rest with our father and family who has preceded her in death. Our beloved mom/dad and two brothers left her on earth to treasure and cherish all her memories, two sisters Sarah and Elizabeth Wade, Clarence (Timothy) Wade and James Hill. Preceded in death is a loving mother Ms. Sarah Jane Wade (Hill), her father Mr. Clarence Wade, Sr.; two brothers Ronald D. Wade and Benjamin E. Wade. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: two sisters; Ms. Sarah Ann Harris (Henry) of Terry, MS, Mrs. Elizabeth D. Crozier (John) of Benton, MS; two brothers: Mr. Clarence (Timothy) Wade of Benton, MS and Mr. James Hill of Yazoo City, MS and a host of nieces, nephews,  and cousins. She also leaves behind a dear friend Ms. Lisa Diew and three of her dearest cousins: Ms. Shirley Watts Granderson, Ms. Rochelle Coleman and Dianna Moton.
