Millie Mae Swinney

Millie Mae Swinney was born on January 26, 1957 to the late Josie Bell Swinney and Tony Griffin of Bentonia, Mississippi. Millie attended and received her education at Bentonia Gibbs Schools System. Millie accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Bentonia, Mississippi. Millie was preceeded in death by parents, Josie Bell Swinney and Tony Griffin, daughter, Genise Swinney, sister Lessie McNiesh and Robert Ware. Millie departed from her earthly home to a heavenly home on Friday, October 13, 2017 Millie leaves to cherish the memories children; Connell Swinney, Patricia Hicks, Reggie (Latoya) Swinney, Eric Swinney, and Keyanna Swinney; grandchildren; Ra’Keyshia Ware, Shakyria Ware, Marvin Swinney, De’Juan Swinney, De’Wayne Swinney, and Doashey Fanroy; sisters; Kathy (Wilson) Swinney, Virdine Hardge, and Rosetta Anderson; a special in-law; Shevish Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
