Olivia Strong

Olivia Strong was born on October 20,1928 in Yazoo County Mississippi to the late Louis Young & and Inez Ellis. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kathy Strong, brothers Miller  Johnson Sr., Bob Sessions, Sylvester Young, Albert Young, Carey Young and grandson Huey Strong II. Loving lady she was united into holy matrimony on August 17,1947 to Walter L. Strong Sr. & to this union seven children were born. In her formative years of education she attended Yazoo County schools. Tea, as she was called by many completed her education in the Church School in Bentonia, MS. She was efficient in math & to many family members showed & taught to save. Virtuous & faithful, she made a confession to Christ at an early age and was baptized in the Christian family at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church were she serves as a mother on the mother ministry until her health failed. In her working years she worked in the private home care field. She retired in the 80's & became a full-time  housewife.
