Roy Lee Ball was born on March 23, 1959 in Flor, Mississippi to the Late Minnie and Wille Ball, Sr.

Roy attended Madison County Public Schools. He was preceded in death by six of his siblings.

Roy Lee Ball leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Royal of Urbana, Illinois; his sisters: Shirley (Robert), Linda (Marcelle), Roshelle, Earnestine, Ruby, Marie, Jeannette Alice, and Patricia; and his brothers, Lionel and Michael, all of Flora, Mississippi. He also leaves to cherish his memories: special sisters, Ruby Dell and Ruthie Mae, his special nephew, John L. Ball; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
