A songwriter wrote, He saw me! Ephesians 1:4 declares that He chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world, but it wasn’t until August 28, 1924 that I became a reality to the world. This day marked a very special day in historyfor the late Willie and Winnie Pickett, Sr. when they gave birth to a beautiful little girl and called her Ruth. She isthe third child of six in which four sisters, Ida Pickett, Eunice Norment, Minnie Bowman and Nellie Hargon proceededher in death.Today we witness God’s final plan, purpose and mission for Mother Ruth Pickett White as her journey on earthfinalizes from mortality to immortality and she rest in eternity with Christ. She departed this life on November 21,2017 to join the love ones who have gone on before her. Our God is a right now God! He did not allow her to suffer,God called, and she answered.Raised in a God-fearing home, introduced to the love of God and the friendship of Jesus, Ruth confessed a hope inChrist and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at an early age. She united with the Mt. Nebo Missionary BaptistChurch of Benton, MS where she served as a faithful and dedicated group leader, served on the benevolent ministryand a mother of the church.
