Silas Washington Fuqua

“S.W.” Silas Washington Fuqua was born October 14, 1937 in Bentonia, Mississippi to the late Mr. Eddie and Louise Fuqua.  He attended local churches in Bentonia and school in the Yazoo County School System.   He was loved by many and made friends wherever he went.    “S.W.” Silas Washington Fuqua  leaves in God’s care a loving  and caring wife of 32 years Patricia A. Wells, nine (9) children and one (1) step child.  Seven (7) sons; Raymond (Jeanette) Fuqua, Flora MS, Gaddis Fuqua, Yazoo City, MS, Michael (Sharon) Fuqua, Flora, MS, Stephen (Latoya) Mason, Tony ( Helen) Mason, Silas Fuqua, Bentonia, MS, and Reginald (Monique) Wells, Plano TX: three (3) daughters; Daisy (Roger) Wilkerson, Robin (Lawrence)  Fuqua, Bentonia, MS, and Kendra Stewart, Chicago, IL, and eighteen (18) grandchildren.  One (1) brother, Albert Fuqua, Bentonia, MS; five (5) sisters; Lovell Fuqua, Minnie (Marion) Harrington, Zola Mae Fuqua, Laurine Carter, Bentonia, MS and Pauline Aceves, Pasadena, CA.  Four (4) brothers proceeded him in death; Robert berry, Walter Berry, Clarence Fuqua, and Eddie Fuqua, Jr.  One (1) sister, Hazel Tennessee, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
