Sullivan Jack Camphor was born August 29, 1955 in Port Gibson, MS to the late Charlie and Vivian Camphor. He departed this life on Saturday, December 16, 2017. As a youth Sullivan confessed to Christ at Mt. Burner Missionary Baptist Church in Pattison, MS. As an adult Sullivan attended Job Corp in Breckinridge, Kentucky. He was a historian of antiques. God blessed him with the gift of love because he never encountered a stranger. Sullivan was a caretaker, and a business man who owned a detail and used car dealership until his health fell. A lot of his time was invested in loving and taking care of his grandchildren. Sullivan is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Vivian Camphor, two brothers, Joseph, and Sam Camphor. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Lafallia Harris, Jackson Mississippi, Sabrina Dent, Jackson, Mississippi, three sons, Eric Simmons(Latisha), Florence, Mississippi, Tyree Camphor, Jackson, Mississippi, Marcus Simmons, Jackson, Mississippi, 10 grandchildren, Dayall Harris, Ka`Daisha Ratliff, Shardae Ratliff, Eric Sullivan Simmons Jr., Jamimen Mozee, Edison Sullivan Simmons, Tyree Turner, King Smith, Shi`heed Dent, Johnnie Pooh Simmons, (4) brothers Andrew Camphor(Lisa), Flora, MS, Arthur L. Camphor(Irna Ray) Pattison, MS, Charlie “Red” Camphor Jr., Jackson, MS, David Steve Ellis Camphor, Jackson, MS (1) sister Mary C.
