Mr. Undria Corelle Garrett, Sr. better known as Rocky entered this worldon September 4, 1976. The first-born child of Amanda L. Garrett and thelate Henry Hubbard was born in Woodlawn Hospital in Chicago, Il.Undria received his education in the following schools: MidwayHeadstart, Linwood Elementary, Benton High and Yazoo County HighSchools. He grew up in Yazoo County in Vaughan, MS.Undria joined Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Church at an early age under theleadership of Rev. F.D. Raggs.He was employed with Swayze Farms, Levi’s and Parkers.Undria will be truly missed for the kindness he showed towards his familymembers and the Vaughan Community and his friends. Undria departedthis earthly life on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home.Undria leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Amanda L.Garrett of Vaughan, MS; three children: Erina Watkins and ElyciaSchaffer both of Yazoo City, MS and Undria C. Garrett, Jr. of Arlington,Texas; three grandchildren: Sariah and Major Watkins both of YazooCity, MS, and Londyn Garrett of Jackson, MS; three brothers: Henry andCorey Garrett of Vaughan, MS and LaSalle B. Johnson of Tupelo, MS;one sister: Dominique Garrett of Vaughan, MS; five aunts: Gloria Jonesof Brandon, MS , Walker J. Garrett of Yazoo City, MS, Linda W. Sawyerof Jackson, MS, Jackie (Homer) Cannon and Yolanda Hubbard both ofWest Point, MS, one great-aunt: Myrtle (Rochelle) Coleman ofIndianapolis, IN; three uncles: Levi Garrett of Vaughan, MS, Alvin(Kathy) Jackson of Starkville, MS and Kenneth Hubbard of West Point,MS, four nieces and three nephews and a host of cousins and friends.Undria’s daughter, Kerbiana Schaffer, grandparents: Mr. and Mrs.Walker (Elise) Garrett, Mr. L.C. Hubbard and Mrs. Velora J. Cowsonpreceded him in death.
