MR. Y.T. TAYLOR, JR. 1953 ~ 2017 “Hush, Hush, somebody’s calling my name, Come now my sweet child from this life of endless labor, sickness, and pain to the sweet rest in the mansion I’ve prepared for you.” Mr. Y.T. Taylor was born May 31, 1953 to union of Mr. Y.T. Taylor, Sr. and Mrs. Rosie Lee (Littleton) Taylor. On Friday, September 1, 2017 this chapter of his earthly life was closed at his home in Jackson, MS. He confessed his belief in Jesus Christ at an early age at Greater Richmond Grove M.B. Church in Tougaloo, MS. He received his education through the Jackson Public School System. He later moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he spent most of his adult life. He worked in the Steel Industry for many years. He had a great love for cars, was a self-made Mechanic. His parents Y.T. and Rosie Lee Taylor, a sister Alice Mae Young; a brother-in-law Jarvis C. Harris all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Shantalena Lotts Asen and Damien Taylor; brothers, Charles Lee (Lynn) Taylor of Cleveland, Ohio and Theodore (Michelle) Taylor of Pennsylvania, sisters, Rosemary Harris, Helen (Howard) Reid, and Lillie B. Taylor all of Jackson, MS; aunts, Frankie Lee Taylor of Yazoo City, MS, Bettye Roberts, Cassie Jones, Mae Nellie (Arthur) Magee all of Jackson, MS. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
